Physics: Units of measure

​It is important in physics to have units of measure added to the numerical value, without it, the number will have no sense.

For example 400 may represent either grams, pounds, kilograms or even tons.

Such units of measurement are optional and often are not being specified in mathematics. It is being assumed that units of measurement are the same and only mathematical operators needs to be performed.
