Optical drives

​Optical drives also can be found at the front of a computer case. This is considered an older technology, so new computers may not have these installed. These had been replaced with flash drives and external disks.

CD and DVD media can be used with such drives.

Please note that majority of DVD readers will be capable of reading CD media.
