Spoofing MAC addresses

​In Linux system it is possible to set a random MAC address using ifconfig command.

MAC addresses is hardware address assigned to a network card and it is usually remarked unchanged, however in Linux systems it is possible to change MAC address using ifconfig command.

It needs not be changed for regular use, but only for specific cases.
