Spear phishing

​Spear phishing is a phishing attack targeting one specific person. Phishing attempts target large group of people. Spear phishing attacks will be tailored to one specific person. For example a spear phishing email will have that person name.

Spear phishing is more dangerous than just regular phishing, because such a person is likely to react to a message that is tailored specifically to such a person.
