External connectivity via USB

External devices can be connected to a computer via USB. USB stand for Universal Serial Bus. USB devices are hot pluggable, and often the operating system already has a device driver for these. To disconnect an external USB device is often needed to "eject" from the system, or in other word disable all communications to it.

USB plugs and ports can be of a different type, so please make sure that you are getting a USB device that is compatible with your system.
