Trojan horses
A name “Trojan horse” comes from Greek mythology, when city of Troy was defeated by soldiers that hid inside of a big wooden horse that was rolled inside by the citizens of the city.
Once inside, these soldiers were able to open gates and allowed more soldiers to come in.
Computer Trojan horses represent something useful however these allow access to computer resources by other programs once the Trojan horse is running.
