File share permissions in Windows
It is possible to specify file share permissions in Widows. These permissions can be group level permissions or individual permissions. File level permissions have higher priority than share permissions.
It is a good idea to set group level permissions over individual permissions, it will simplify user management.
Just imagine that file share permissions are assigned to HR group, if a new person joins that group, than it is enough to add that user to HR group and that person will have access to files that other HR people have.
If permissions are assigned at the individual level, than it is needed to investigate which permissions what user has in order to assign these permissions to a newly joined person.
