Disaster recovery plans

Disaster recovery plans are detailed steps of what needs to be done in a specific situation. It will be difficult to come up with a list of steps to do in such a situation, therefore disaster recovery plans needed to be prepared in advance. Yes, disaster recovery plans are in plural form, because different events may happen and steps in case of a flooding will be different from steps in case of a fire.

Of course it is difficult or even impossible to think through every situation, but it is a good idea to prepare these in advance, before such an event happens. If it happens and nothing is prepared, than it would be difficult to come up with the list of steps to do during an event.
