  5. Linux is customizable. Yes it is possible to adjust behavior of certain applications via configuration files, however it is also possible to take source code of Linux and adjust to your specific needs.
  6. It is robust. Linux can run without GUI (Graphical User Interface) therefore saving processing resources in displaying graphics. Linux can be configured that only specific services will run in a system, for example it can be a database server.
  7. Full featured. It has support for modern technologies.
  8. It can co-exist with Windows operating systems. File and print services in Linux can be used by Windows workstations.
  9. It can run in low power devices such as Raspberry Pi.
  10. it can run in supercomputers.
  11. It is well documented. There is a ton of information available in the Internet of how to configure and run Linux.
  12. It is fun to use. Modern Linux distributions have fancy graphics. It is pleasing to look at Linux desktop software.
