Basic counting

Basic counting is from number zero to number nine. Basic counting has ten digits. It makes sense to count by ten. We have ten fingers, therefore it is easy for us to count by ten. If we had eight fingers we would be counting by eight.

in some countries count is done by 12 or a dozen. Honestly I don’t know where a dozen comes from, I need to do additional research of it.

Our digits are from zero to nine, therefore are also ten digits.
