An IP address
Each computer that is connected to the Internet has an IP address. IP stands for Internet protocol. Protocol is something which is used in the judicial system. IP protocol defines that each computer connected to the Internet has a unique address. There are two versions of the IP protocol. There is IPv4, which is defined with numbers from 0 to 255. IP protocol is related to TCP protocol. The TCP protocol has about 4 billion unique addresses. It looked like a big number, but it had been exhausted. A replacement for IPv4 is IPv6. IPv6 has a much larger range of IPs that can be assigned to computers. IPv6 has a size of 128 bits. It probably does not make much sense. Size of IPv6 is 2 to the 128 power, or approximately 340 undecillion numbers. It is a very big number.
